Chevron WP7 is claimed to be the first tools made by hackers to dissect the Windows Phone 7. This application was created by three people: Rafael Rivera, Long Zheng and Chris Walsh.
Chevron WP7 makers say that they are making this application to provide access to users or developers to be able to smuggle a third-party applications, without having been complicated by the requirements in the market place of the Windows Phone 7.
Although it contains elements of coercion in the process, but the activity of the jailbreak is claimed to be safe, in other words, this application will not damage Windows Phone 7 OS.
“Unlock process that run will not change or damage your cell phone operating system,” the message conveyed in the application, quoted from ZDNet, Friday (11/26/2010).
Currently, Microsoft only allows developers who’ve registered to unlock the phone is embedded in Windows Phone 7 for test applications. But with the presence of sorts Chevron WP7 tools means that developers can take a shortcut.
